Frequently Asked Questions
Your questions,
answered
How fast can you produce?+
Once your sample is approved, production typically takes 14–21 business days for orders up to 10,000 pieces and 21–30 business days for larger volumes. This includes material purchasing and preparation.
Shipping adds 5–10 calendar days by air or 50–65 calendar days by ocean, including delivery to your door.
For a brand-new product, allow extra time for development and sampling. The full process for new products takes about 7–14 weeks by air, or 13–21 weeks by ocean, from first call to your door, depending on product complexity, materials and order volume. Repeat orders with approved specifications move faster and take about 4–8 weeks by air, or 10–15 weeks by ocean.
Have a specific launch deadline? Let us know, and we'll explore the most practical production and delivery options.
What affects ocean shipping time?+
Several things shape how long an ocean shipment takes to reach you:
Full or shared container. Larger orders usually ship in a full container load (FCL), which is booked for your goods alone. Smaller orders often ship as less than container load (LCL), sharing space with other cargo. LCL can be more cost-effective, but it adds time for consolidation at origin and unpacking and sorting at the destination port.
Your destination. Ocean freight arrives at a port in your destination country. In Canada, this may be Vancouver, Montreal, or Halifax. If your warehouse is inland, for example in Ontario, the container continues by rail or truck, which adds transit time.
Customs clearance. Documentation, inspections and duty processing at the border can add a few days.
Seasonal and port conditions. Peak shipping seasons, holidays such as Lunar New Year, weather and port congestion can affect schedules.
Have a deadline? Tell us the date, and we'll plan backward from it. Air freight is available for urgent orders.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?+
MOQ: 100 pieces per style, per colour. Sizes can be mixed within each colour. Additional colours or print designs below the minimum may be available for a setup fee, depending on your order.
Whether you're launching your first collection, testing a new design, or entering new markets, we make smaller production runs accessible without compromising your quality requirements.
Minimum quantities may vary depending on fabric, customization and product requirements.
How quickly can I receive a production quote?+
We aim to respond to production inquiries within 24 hours and provide a tailored quotation within that timeframe when we have the necessary details. Orders requiring specialized sourcing may take longer to quote.
Simply tell us what you want to manufacture, your approximate quantity, any specifications or reference images available and target landed pricing you have in mind.
No technical specifications or tech pack? That's fine. We'll help you determine what's needed to move forward.
What payment methods and currencies do you accept?+
We accept payments in Canadian dollars (CAD) and US dollars (USD) through domestic and international bank transfers, including EFT and wire transfers using SWIFT where applicable.
Payments are generally structured around agreed production milestones, with a deposit typically ranging from 30–50% once the sample and production details are approved and the remaining balance after pre-shipment inspection approval.
We establish payment schedules before production begins for transparency and predictability.
What is a tech pack, and do I need one to get started?+
A tech pack is a detailed set of manufacturing instructions that outlines your garment's measurements, materials, colours, stitching, construction and finishing requirements.
You don't need one to get started with us.
If you already have a completed tech pack, we can work directly from your specifications. If you only have sketches, reference images, a physical sample, or an idea, we can help translate your vision into clear, production-ready instructions.
Can you provide factory certifications and compliance documentation?+
Yes. Our manufacturing network includes facilities with WRAP, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, GOTS, GRS and ISO 9001 certifications, as well as Sedex (SMETA) and amfori BSCI social audits.
Applicable certifications and supporting documentation depend on the selected factory, materials and product.
We can coordinate relevant certification records, material traceability documents and compliance information to support retail vendor requirements, sustainability reporting and supply chain due diligence.
Do you ship to the United States as well as Canada?+
Yes. Based in Toronto, we serve brands, businesses and institutions across Canada and the United States. We also ship to Europe and other destinations on request, drawing on our experience supplying European markets.
We coordinate international freight, customs clearance arrangements and delivery to your designated warehouse, distribution centre, or third-party logistics (3PL) provider.
Delivery to Canada and the United States is available on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis.
What shipping options do you offer?+
We offer ocean freight (LCL and FCL) and air freight. We help you find the right balance between shipping costs, delivery speed and order volume.
Ocean freight is available through Less than Container Load (LCL) shipping for smaller orders and Full Container Load (FCL) shipping for larger volumes. Air freight offers faster transportation when timelines are particularly important.
We coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers and delivery providers, helping manage the process from dispatch to arrival.
Can you manufacture clothing from an existing design or sample?+
Yes. Whether you have a complete tech pack, an existing garment, or approved product specifications, we can work from it to develop a suitable manufacturing plan.
Already working with another manufacturer? We can evaluate alternative production options, compare costs and identify opportunities to improve quality, consistency, or delivery reliability.
We also coordinate material matching, sampling and production specifications to make the transition to a new manufacturing partner as straightforward as possible.
Can you help us secure better manufacturing prices without compromising quality?+
Yes. We compare factories, materials and production methods to lower your total landed cost while keeping your quality standards. Through our manufacturing network in Bangladesh, China and India, we evaluate factory capabilities, material suppliers, production methods and pricing to identify the best overall value for your requirements.
The lowest factory quote doesn't always mean the lowest final cost. Poor material choices, inconsistent production, unnecessary shipping expenses and unexpected delays can quickly eliminate apparent savings.
We consider these factors together to identify opportunities to reduce costs while protecting your quality requirements.
How do you ensure consistent product quality?+
Quality control begins before manufacturing starts.
We help establish clear specifications, approved samples, material requirements and workmanship standards so everyone understands expectations from the outset.
Every order includes quality checks during production. Before shipment, we inspect to an agreed AQL level and share the inspection report with you.
We work to identify potential problems early, when they are easier and less expensive to resolve.
What types of apparel and products can you manufacture?+
We make knit and woven apparel, uniforms, workwear, home and institutional textiles and nonwoven and felt products. Our manufacturing network supports a wide range of apparel categories, including T-shirts, polos, hoodies, sweatshirts, jerseys, shirts, trousers, denim jeans, activewear, casualwear, scrubs, staff gowns (non-medical), uniforms, workwear and other custom garments for adults and children.
We also provide home, hospitality and institutional textiles, including bed sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, blankets and sofa covers, as well as bags, nonwoven products and felt accessories.
We can source specialized fabrics, trims, labels, packaging and finishing options to meet your product requirements.
Some products require capabilities or materials from multiple suppliers or countries. We coordinate the necessary sourcing and production partners to find a practical solution.
Can you help with custom branding, labels and packaging?+
Yes. We can coordinate the branding and finishing details that make your products ready for retail.
Options include woven labels, printed neck labels, care labels, hangtags, embroidery, screen printing, custom packaging and other finishing requirements.
We also coordinate these details with the factory so your branding, packaging and product specifications are integrated into the production plan.
